This is a new position our church has just created. We are looking for someone with energy, creativity, and a passion for leading the church to engage the world with the hope of Jesus Christ. Description: A full job description is available upon request, but the position will focus on the following items.
- Be an active evangelistic and missionary presence in the local community. (For example: On campus college ministry)
- Serve as staff liason to local partner ministries and lead the church in best ways to partner with and support them.
- Lead our response to social ministries and meeting needs.
- Serve as the staff representative to missions committee
- Lead hospitaltiy and visitor engagement ministry
- Teaching responsibilities can/will include Sunday School, Wednesday night discipleship class, and preaching as needed.
- Take part/assist in discipleship ministries of the church.
- Calling: Clearly demonstrated desire and commitment to vocational ministry
- Character: Above reproach and of good reputation
- Competency: Having the necessary training and gifting to excel in this role (A Master's degree from an accredited seminary is preferred.)
- Chemistry: Compatability with church body and church staff
