What are the responsibilities and job description for the Worship Leader: Part-Time (potential full-time) position at Georgia Baptist Mission Board?
First Baptist Dawsonville is looking for a biblically qualfiied individual to serve in the area of leading worship.
The Worship Leader Will Be
The Worship Leader Will Be
- A born again worshipper and follower of Jesus Christ.
- Maintains a personal walk with the Lord Jesus and seeks for others to know Him.
- Called to lead the church in worship through music.
- Able to plan worship services on a weekly basis.
- Lead teams: choir, band, a/v, etc.
- Able to use Planning Center Services (can be taught if needed)
- Able to use other programs such as Word Processors, Asana (online workspace), Email.
- Able to attend staff meetings
- Desires to know the people you serve and want to have a relationship with them. Must care about the people and demonstrate a desire to be here.
- Flexible
- Able to take direction from the lead pastor and work with him to create an enviroment where our church can encounter God.
