Job Title: Student Recruitment Coordinator
Essential2Life’s Fifteen Leadership Program / Atlanta, GA / Part-Time (10-15) hours per week). Must be available to travel to designated Cobb County high schools to recruit students during school day/evening for Youth Leadership Program. Program sessions occur every other Saturday.
Overview
Fifteen Program: Fifteen is an elite leadership and life skills training program for at risk students within Atlanta (metro) area public high schools, designed to help them develop into a positive influence within their families, schools, communities and the world. It is a three-year program that students enter as sophomores. Classes are held every other Saturday during the school year, on the Georgia Tech campus. The Program is FREE to all participating Students!
Job description
FUNCTION: Responsible for meeting with high school officials to recruit students to participate in a local Nonprofit youth leadership Program. Must be available to meet with students during the school day and hold recruitment information sessions for schools/parents/students.
START DATE: ASAP
Duties And Responsibilities
This is a contract position and compensation will be monthly. Based on experience and qualifications the compensation will be $1,500.00 per month. Travel compensation will also be provided.

START DATE: ASAP
Duties And Responsibilities
- Meet with school officials to present leadership program & help develop partnership with Essential2Life, Inc.
- Set up recruitment stations at established high schools during student lunch & after school.
- Attend school PTA meetings & other school events to promote youth leadership program provided through Essential2Life, Inc.
- Develop positive relationships with current/prospective students and promote development of positive self-esteem, self-discipline, character, and life-long learning.
- Support E2L Program Coordinator during class sessions on Saturday
- Work in partnership with the Essential2Life’s Executive Director to implement the Fifteen program and its goals.
- Work with volunteers to complete student interviews and select class participants.
This is a contract position and compensation will be monthly. Based on experience and qualifications the compensation will be $1,500.00 per month. Travel compensation will also be provided.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking person Preferred
- Bachelors Degree strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years high school teaching experience strongly preferred
- Experience teaching, mentoring, or working with lower income, at-risk teenagers
- MUST be able to pass a Nationwide Sex Offender Background Check
- Must be able to meet with students during the school day
