Camp Counselor

RYB is a weeklong summer residential education program for high school students in Georgia. Throughout the week, participants will learn the principles and process of creating a business plan, understand the overall structure of a business, and professionally, present their plan to investors. Participants are placed into teams based off their common interest; each team will construct business plans for an original/innovative product or service in their designated field. At the end of the week, the teams will present their plan to a panel of judges (investors), and the judges will decide who has the best plan and presentation.

The Counselor role will work closely with the Program Administrator to assist in the planning and coordination of the program. They will help schedule and organize events for the week-long camp, assist with any related marketing and communications, aid with the purchase of any equipment or supplies needed by the summer staff. Counselors must make themselves available 24/7 the week of the camp.

Supervising high school aged students - 75
Most of the job consists of supervising high school aged students on Campus. Counselors must accompany students to and from all meals, be present in the dorms for the duration of the camp and take them to and from their daily classes on campus.

Academically assist high school aged students - 25
Help students prepare a business plan, give presentations about said plan, and answer questions about the viability of their business idea.

Some experience working with student camps

Ability to learn and enforce the camps safety and operating rules.

Excellent communication skills.
