The Wellness and Recreation Center (WRC) Student Member Services Representative performs a variety of support duties through interaction with WRC Professional. Graduate Assistant, and student staff , as well as GCSU faculty, staff, departments and/or organizations.

The duties and responsibilities of this position require excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and clerical skills, as well as an understanding of effective customer service.

Reception - 40

Serves as the point of entry person for the Wellness and Recreation Center. Ensures authorized entry for students, faculty, staff, vendors, visitors, guests, and members of the community. Helps to provide a safe and welcoming environment. Provides assistance and information for the facility, programs, events, and services. Serves as receptionist, answers incoming telephone calls, routes calls, and relays messages. Responds to and routes department emails. Maintains lost and found. Responsible for posting of signage in the entry and lobby areas. Maintains inventory for sports equipment check-out.

Membership Support - 30

Provides membership services support for students, faculty, staff and members of the community through member management software and point of sale system. Assists with online and in-person sales, program/event registrations, classes, etc. Verifies student enrollment and faculty staff employment as needed for membership and facility access.

Administrative Support - 20

Operates office equipment, such as personal computer, laptop, iPad, printer, copier, scanner, laminator, etc. Communicates with students and members through verbal, phone, email and social media communications. Responsible for running and maintaining departmental reports, including but not limited to sales, usage, entry, and parking data. Other
