Duties:
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble cabinets
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and materials needed
- Measure, cut, and shape wood or other materials to build cabinets according to design plans
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and knobs on cabinets
- Ensure cabinets are level, plumb, and properly aligned during installation
- Apply caulk or other sealants to cabinets to ensure a smooth finish
- Perform quality checks to ensure cabinets meet specifications and standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cabinet maker
- Ability to demonstrate experience with frameless, face frame and inset cabinets
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools commonly used in cabinet making
- Knowledge of construction estimating and ability to read blueprints and drawings is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during cabinet making process
- Familiarity with CNC machines is a plus
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
