The Department of Community Health is seeking qualified candidates for a Business Support Supervisor. This is a hybrid position that requires in-office and remote work with the approval of the supervisor. The days and frequency in the office can change at any time during employment based on the business needs of the organization.
Under minimal supervision, the Business Support Analyst Supervisor supervises a staff of 1 personnel and provides assistance to the Deputy Medicaid Director for the Policy, Compliance and Administration unit of the Medical Assistance Plans Division. This individual manages the calendar of the Deputy Director, setting meetings for internal and external business owners while also setting recurring weekly meetings for any new staff reporting to the Deputy Director. This position is responsible for training newly hired administrative personnel reporting to the individual, introducing them to the Medicaid environment.
Further duties associated with this position includes acting as the Liaison for creating requisitions for personnel actions through the internal NeoGov system. Also, must Create requisitions through Peoplesoft Financial system for processing invoices received for payment. Knowledge of the Concur Travel System for expenses is also an essential duty for this position. Coordinates hiring processes, ensuring all required forms are completed and all clearances are obtained. Provides information to agency staff regarding transactions or other personnel-related issues by communicating such with Deputy Director. Resolves personnel transaction problems. Serves as back up for administrative assistant assigned duties.

Associate degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of experience related to area of assignment; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Busi Support Analyst 3 (GSP132).Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
