The Department of Community Health is seeking qualified candidates of a Policy Manager position with the Policy, Compliance and Operations Unit of the Medical Assistance Plans (Medicaid) Division. The Policy Manager will provide oversight for Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) program and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training. This is a hybrid position that requires in-office and remote work with the approval of the supervisor. The days and frequency in the office can change at any time during employment based on the business needs of the organization.
Policy Manager shall perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to, providing advice and strategies regarding Medical Assistance Plans policies, conducting research on a variety of matters including policy and regulatory compliance, and serving as the liaison for external and internal customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provides oversight for Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) program and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training.
- Lead the development, drafting and revision of PACE policies and procedures.
- Coordinate the roll-out of new policies across the organization.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Reviews/manages contracts and ensures compliance with Medicaid Policy
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong background in Healthcare, Public Administration, or other health-related field
- Knowledge and understanding of Medicaid and CMS policies and regulations
- Significant experience with administrative hearings
- Significant Medicaid and audit experience
- Demonstrated strategic mindset to understand legal decisions’ impacts to the agency
