Bachelor's degree in accounting and two (2) years of professional accounting job-related experience.

Two (2) years of experience at the lower-level Accountant 2 (FIP021) or equivalent position.

Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, posses one or more of the following:
Financial software experience (i.e. PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks)
Reconciliation experience (General ledger accounts and/or bank)
Working knowledge of the State of Georgia travel reimbursement policy
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (such as pivot table, v-lookups, and formulas)
General ledger knowledge (posting journal entries, running financial reports)
Duties of the position include but not limited to:
Reconciling five bank accounts
Reconciling sale tax payable account
Assist Accounting Manager in supervising staff and to produce daily and weekly reports
