Role And Responsibilities
- Provides direct supervision and support to assigned team/unit of Eligibility Specialists.
- Analyzes and assesses the effectiveness of services provided to customers in addition to assigned programmatic responsibilities to ensure the identified outcome measures are achieved.
- Ensures agency compliance with policies, appropriate documentation, and reporting requirements.
- Develops and encourages a cooperative team-oriented environment within units(s) and with other agencies and providers.
- Assess assigned staff performance and provide ongoing development and training.
- Interviews, hires, directs, trains. and evaluates employees job performance; recommends employee disciplinary and discharge actions as appropriate.
- Leads and administers a comprehensive system of customer support and public assistance.
- Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of related experience, One year of which in a supervisory or team lead role.
- High school diploma or GED AND Four years of related experience, One year of which in a supervisory or team lead role.
- One year of experience at the lower level Eligibility Spec 3 (SST072) or position equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience at lower level Eligibility Specialist 2/3 with GA DFCS.
- Trained AND worked in two (2) OR three (3) OFI programs.
- Must be Gateway eligibility system trained.
