Job Description

Under general supervision, applies project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques in supporting Sr. Project Consultant or other project leads. Under general supervision plans, organizes, schedules, facilitates, and produces project documentation for JAR and JAD sessions.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Facilitates project's Joint Applications Requirements sessions (JAR sessions) to include internal and external stakeholders, identifying and documenting business and stakeholder requirements that satisfy project scope.
- Produces the Business Requirements Document (BRD).
- Facilitates project's Joint Applications Design / Development sessions (JAD sessions) with internal and external stakeholders to identify functional requirements / designs attributes as specified by the BRD and satisfy project scope.
- Directs and develops, communicates and monitors quality assurance and schedules of projects for the application of software development.
- Supervises, monitors and develops project tasks and schedules for system development and enhancement.
- Tracks and controls project status.
- Directs subordinate supervisors and staff, as needed.
- Analyzes trends to anticipate and adapt to changes.
- Assesses and manages project risks, analyzing critical paths.
- Follows established project criteria and procedures for project activities, ensuring that priorities, objectives, and activities are consistent with agency and entity goals.
- May manage internal projects or sub-projects of larger projects.
- Facilitates meetings and report-outs.
