Georgia Middle School is seeking a dynamic middle level math teacher to join our 7th & 8th grade team. This individual will have strong math content knowledge that allows them to guide students towards proficiency through high-quality instructional practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Common Core math standards and be able to apply them in creative and effective ways to meet the diverse needs of students. Candidates must have the ability to build positive and supportive relationships with students while establishing a classroom environment with clear routines and expectations.

*Demonstrate a strong understanding of proficiency-based learning and the ability to plan units of study that are rigorous and relevant for early adolescence.
*Utilize the Schoology online platform to post and communicate about student assignments.
*Reflect upon their practice and data to continue to grow professionally.
*Demonstrate knowledge of Vermont transferable skills and content standards with an ability to create and adapt curriculum materials for a variety of learners.
