What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Department Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner position at Georgia Emergency Department Services?
We are seeking an Emergency Department Advance Practice Provider to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. We staff 5 different emergency departments in the north Georgia region.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- At least one year of Emergency Department experience OR completion of Emergency Medicine residency
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Nurse practitioners require both FNP and ACNP certifications or ENP
Salary : $90 - $105
