Job Responsibilities
· Install, troubleshoot, and repair gate automation, access control systems, standard entry doors, and overhead doors.
· Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in gate operators, door openers, access control hardware, and entry door locking mechanisms.
· Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system reliability.
· Work with low-voltage electrical components and wiring.
· Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
· Compile detailed service reports after each visit, documenting maintenance performed, system conditions, and any recommended repairs or upgrades.
· Provide excellent customer service and explain system functions and repairs to clients.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Qualifications & Skills
· Experience in gate automation, overhead doors, standard entry doors, or access control systems preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
· Basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting knowledge (low-voltage experience is a plus).
· Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with power tools.
· Ability to read schematics and manuals for troubleshooting.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required).
· Strong customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to compile and submit detailed service reports.
· Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
