The Triage Technician is responsible for the accurate accumulation of patient information and scheduling the patient accordingly.
Job Responsibility: accurately and efficiently recording patient information. Scheduling patient appointments according to provider and patients needs. Correct screening and questioning patients of medical and ocular history. Efficient knowledge of the computer, templates and schedules. Adding new patient information, including insurance, into the computer. Assisting physicians and staff as necessary.
The Triage Technician must be organized and good at anticipating the overall needs of the practice. Good communication skills are also required since Referral Specialist must talk with a wide array of individuals. Provide support to enhance the success of Georgia Eye Institute of the Southeast, LLC.
