Job Summary
This role involves selling various types of insurance policies to individual customers and businesses on behalf of Georgia Farm Bureau and our Brokerage partners.
Main Responsibilities
- Sell farm, crop, automobile, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental insurance policies to customers.
- Analyze insurance programs, suggest additions or changes, and modify beneficiaries as needed.
- Pursue new business opportunities by networking within the county.
- Ensure policy requirements, documentation, and support services are completed.
- Evaluate properties to assess risk characteristics and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Contribute to local advertising, promotion, and brand awareness initiatives within the community.
- Maintain professional development through continuous learning and training.
- Foster positive working relationships between the county office and home office.
Requirements
- Hold valid Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance licenses.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
- Pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance is required.
- Hold a valid Georgia driver's license.
