Description Of Essential Duties
- Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate project requirements for multi-departmental projects.
- Analyze, design, and produce quality requirements, process maps, use cases, and business rule documentation.
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop solutions.
- Map business processes; facilitate the definition of business rules and software requirements.
- Perform complex data analysis and apply statistical concepts.
- Perform cost benefit analysis for multi-departmental projects.
- Communicate changes and issues to stakeholders.
- Plan, design, and implement operational performance measurement systems.
- Represent department on project teams.
- Manage Projects.
- Demonstrate leadership principles within a team environment of co-workers.
- Work with limited supervision, be self-disciplined and self-motivated.
- Exhibit organizational skills and be able to prioritize work.
- Demonstrate the confidence and ability to exercise independent judgment to make decisions and accept responsibility for the results.

- Requires:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related fields and 3 years’ experience as a business analyst required; or
- High School Diploma or the equivalent and a minimum of 7 years’ business analysis experience.
- Two years’ experience eliciting, analyzing, specifying, and validating requirements using the business analysis methodology on cross functional teams.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
- Knowledge of Project, Visio, Case Complete, SharePoint or similar software preferred.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle (Waterfall or Agile) or process mapping preferred.
- Insurance experience preferred.
- Statistics knowledge and experience preferred.
- Requirements course required within one year.
- CCBA certification within one year of qualifying to sit for the exam.
- Must have and maintain a valid GA driver’s license.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be flexible to respond to unexpected situations that require immediate attention and be adaptable to change on short notice.
- Must have excellent people skills such as diplomacy, tact, and patience
