Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Customer Service Rep I, you will be responsible for attending training schools to develop your professional skills and knowledge. You will complete applications and paperwork required for new Property & Casualty (P&C) business and changes to existing business, and bind P&C coverage according to insurance regulations and company guidelines. You will also schedule appointments and follow up with customers on insurance services.
In addition, you will provide quotations for P&C insurance coverages and conduct other marketing activities as directed by management. You will handle routine correspondence from the home office and accept premium payments for new business and renewals.
You will prepare, process, review, and monitor applications, changes, binders, etc., and perform in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions. You must present a professional appearance, demeanor, and behavior.
