As a Sales Agent, you will be responsible for selling various types of insurance policies to individual customers and businesses on behalf of Georgia Farm Bureau and our Brokerage partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell farm, crop, automobile, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental insurance policies to customers.
- Analyze insurance programs, suggest additions or changes, and change beneficiaries as needed.
- Seek out new customers and develop membership by networking within the county.
- Ensure policy requirements, documentation, and support services are completed.
- Inspect properties to assess risk characteristics and make corrective actions as necessary.
- Contribute to local advertising, promotion, and brand awareness within the community.
- Develop professional skills through continuous learning and training.
- Maintain positive working relationships between county office and home office.
Requirements:
- Valid Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance licenses.
- Some college preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
- Pursuing licensing through the Georgia Department of Insurance.
- Valid Georgia driver's license.
