Georgia Health Partners, LLC, is looking for mental health paraprofessionals with experience from a core agency. Georgia Health Partners is a CORE and IFI agency, servicing Children, Adolescents and Adults, in the Atlanta area. We accept Medicaid, Amerigroup, Peachstate and Caresource.
Job Description :
Paraprofessional
- Must be willing to provide community services (in the home, school, or community) Currently able to utilize telehealth due to COVID 19 but must be located local to attend meetings/trainings.
* Must be willing to see children, adolescents, and adults in their homes or community after the temporary telehealth due to COVID 19. Currently have a need for paraprofessional that is willing to utilize telehealth.
- Must have knowledge about BIRP note documentation and clinical documentation.
- Must be able to teach clients SKILLS, such as: coping skills, anger management skills, social skills, stress reduction skills, conflict resolution skills, communication skills, educational skills, life skills, self-care skills, etc
- Must be organized, can complete tasks in a timely manner, and take direction well
- Must have reliable transportation, internet, computer, telephone
- Must be able to attend monthly supervision meeting (via Zoom).
- Must be self-motivated, be able to work with a small team, and enjoy a flexible schedule
- Preference for Bachelor's Degree in a helping profession (counseling, social work, etc)
- Experience using Sharenote documentation system a plus
* Starting salary depends on experience ($15-25 per billable hour) Telehealth rates are lower than face to face rate.
- Must be available to start within 2 weeks
IFI or CORE experience a plus
