What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN - Cardiology Patient Care Associate position at Georgia Heart Physicians,LLC?
Busy Middle Georgia Cardiology Practice seeking licensed candidates with the ability to work independently and under the direct supervision of staff physicians, and nurse practitioners. Previous experience working in a private physician’s office is preferred.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Assist in the evaluation and monitoring for all patients undergoing any cardiac stress testing in the Cardiac Diagnostic Stress Lab.
· Collects patient history and physical review.
· Skilled at IV insertions.
· IV medication delivery.
· Confers with the physician as needed based on medical status of the patient.
· Documentation of patient information in the medical record.
· Other duties as assigned.
· Minimum one (1) year of LPN clinical nursing experience.
· Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia or able to obtain prior to date of hire.
- Salary based on experience ( $18 -to- $25.00/ hour )
