Job Summary
This position prepares and delivers instruction for various computer programs as a part-time instructor for Georgia Highlands College, a multi-site college in the University System of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Is responsible to understand, support, and carry out the college¿s mission, vision, and values and comply with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies.
- Conducts engaging and informative training sessions for participants at both beginner and advanced levels
- Develops and delivers instructional materials, including presentations and hands-on exercises
- Customizes training content to meet the needs and skill levels of participants.
- Provides ongoing support and guidance to participants throughout the training sessions.
- Evaluates participant progress and offers constructive feedback
- Evaluates student progress in attaining goals, objectives, and learning outcomes
- Maintains accurate records of participant attendance, schedules and course requirements including hours of instruction and content.
- Maintains timely and proper communication with participants and Manager via phone, email, and other electronic means.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an instructor of various computer programs.
- Expertise in Adobe, Microsoft Programs, Mailchimp and/or other computer software.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt training methods to various learning styles and skill levels.
- Prior experience teaching both beginner and advanced topics is preferred.
Proposed Salary
Salary is $300 per class
