Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and informative lectures on EMT/AEMT curriculum, including medical procedures, patient assessment, emergency response techniques, and other relevant topics.
- Supervise and evaluate students in practical skills sessions and simulations.
- Prepare and administer examinations, quizzes, and other assessments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in emergency medical care and education.
- Provide feedback and support to students, fostering a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards related to EMT/AEMT training.
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic.
- Current licensure as an EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic Course Coordinator.
- Previous teaching or training experience in a relevant field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
- Basic computer and technology skills for classroom management and administration.
