Project Manager / Scrum Master
Location : Denver, CO
Duration : 6-12 Months

Project Planning and Management :
Manage project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, manage JIRA / Kanban board and process flow.
Scrum Management :
Lead Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
Ensure the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices.
Act as a Scrum Master, facilitating communication and resolving impediments.
Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, confluence, etc.) is a must.
Accountability and Ownership :
Take full ownership of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
Monitor project progress, communicate issues and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
Stakeholder Communication :
Maintain clear and continual communication with IT leadership, providing regular project updates.
Team Collaboration :
Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Encourage team members to take accountability for their work and contributions to the project.
Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them to understand their roles and responsibilities.
Follow-up and Timeliness :
Diligently follow up on project timelines and deliverables.
Ensure all tasks and activities are completed according to the project schedule.
Conduct regular reviews to ensure projects remain on track and address any deviations promptly.
Required Qualifications :
BA / BS degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science / Engineering Technical Communications or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Ability to communicate with architects and technical leaders to understand technology / technical-related choices and create related stories
Minimum 5 years of IT experience and working with Software Development teams.
Minimum 3 years of experience working with Project Management tools such as JIRA, MS Project Plan, etc.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Understanding of Mobile, Web, and RESTful backend APIs
Possess excellent communication skills.
Experience working as a Scrum Master
Experience working with remote teams in different time zones.
Experience leading software development teams.
Preferred Qualifications :
Any Project Management / Scrum Master / Cloud Certifications are a plus.
Any previous Software Development experience as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, Quality Analyst, or Software Developer is a plus.
Experience working with Vendors and cross-functional teams.
