The lighting designer will design and create the lights for the musical according to the scale of the performance area and the vision of the director. It is expected that the designer will have at least one production meeting with the production team before the audition process begins. After that, the designer and production team will maintain contact on an as-needed basis and will have at least one formal production status meeting approximately halfway through the rehearsal process. The lighting setup, with the exception of minor adjustments, should be completed no later than the week before the Monday of the production week. The lighting designer is expected to hold Zoom meetings with cast members regularly to ensure proper lighting techniques are used for the recording of scenes. Additionally, the designer will collect and distribute any lighting instruments to cast members to support their recordings and the director's vision.
QUALIFICATIONS : The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator with experience in play production.
COMPENSATION : Stipend- $1,000
