Title: Google Cloud Platform Security Engineer (SecDevOps)
Location: NYC/Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite)
Job Summary:
Seeking a Google Cloud Platform Security Engineer specializing in SecDevOps to enhance security within our Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) environment. This role involves integrating security into the DevOps pipeline, securing cloud-native applications, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Embed security practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Conduct vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and security assessments.
- Develop secure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Implement security monitoring with Google Cloud Security Command Center & Stackdriver.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents.
- Manage IAM policies for least privilege access.
- Ensure compliance with CIS, NIST, and other security standards.
- Provide security training for development and operations teams.
Qualifications:
- 3 years in information security, focusing on Google Cloud Platform security.
- Expertise in Google Cloud Platform security services (IAM, VPC, Cloud Armor, DLP).
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation.
- Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
- Familiarity with vulnerability management, logging, and monitoring tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (Google Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP) preferred.
