Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud DBA to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based database solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS databases, with a primary focus on Postgres, Redshift, and DynamoDB. This role requires hands-on experience in database administration, performance tuning, migration strategies, and monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage AWS-based database solutions.
Administer and optimize Postgres, Redshift, and DynamoDB databases.
Monitor and maintain database health, performance, and security.
Implement AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) solutions, including build and monitoring.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
Troubleshoot and resolve database performance and connectivity issues.
Collaborate with development and cloud engineering teams for seamless database integration.
Required Skills:
5 years of experience as a DBA
5 years working with AWS cloud databases
Strong expertise in Postgres, Redshift, and DynamoDB (Oracle is a plus)
Hands-on experience with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)
Proficiency in performance tuning, indexing, backup, and recovery
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
