Job Title: Senior Technical Product Manager AI/ML Location: Seattle, WA / Hybrid
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager AI/ML to drive the development and deployment of reliable, scalable, and responsible Machine Learning services. This role focuses on building production-grade infrastructure, improving MLOps processes, and enhancing tools and libraries for machine learning experimentation and production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Data Science and Data Product teams to gather insights and identify opportunities to improve ML platform tools, MLOps processes, and libraries.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of technical products, including ideation, proof of concept, functional specifications, development monitoring, validation, and post-launch analysis.
- Advocate for technical product innovation and align it with the overall product roadmap.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders about project timelines, scope, and impact.
- Monitor the performance of launched features and report their success analytically.
- Support the delivery of scalable, high-availability machine learning models processing live data inputs.
Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of experience in technical product management with a focus on machine learning infrastructure or platforms.
- 10 years of overall product management or related experience.
- Technical expertise in Machine Learning, including experience with production and experimentation infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Python and its machine learning ecosystem (Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, LightGBM, SHAP).
- Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning.
- Experience delivering scalable, high-availability ML models.
- Skilled in developing roadmaps and ensuring effective communication across cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Azure and Databricks tools (Unity Catalog, Feature Store, AutoML).
- Experience with Generative AI is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in building libraries and tooling for large-scale machine learning applications.
- Background in crafting processes for effective teamwork across organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to advocate for product innovations and technical solutions.
