JOB INFORMATION:

JOB OVERVIEW:
Under the supervision of the Assistant Manager of Maintenance and Repair, the Storekeeper performs a variety of duties to ensure accurate upkeep of all parts and materials necessary for GPA operation.
Upholds the values of the GPA to promote Safety, Integrity, Respect, Community, Creativity and Opportunity. Promotes a safe work environment by participating in safety initiatives and reporting unsafe conditions and behaviors.
JOB DUTIES:
- Maintains an adequate and accurate inventory of parts, supplies, and materials. Coordinates with GCT and OT Storerooms to maximize inventory.
- Controls, receives, and issues inventory items and other items as directed by the Assistant Manager of Maintenance & Repair.
- Assists with providing necessary services to various departments.
- Issues DPO’s for minor items and generates, reviews, and matches invoices to DPO’s to close out a purchase order.
- Transports items to and from local companies and/or departments.
- Prepares and ships various items to customers and/or vendors.
- Ability to create good issues and material masters, enters receipts, make inventory adjustments, and create requisitions.
- Operates forklifts to unload trucks, pulling in or putting up stock.
- Takes physical inventory, cycle counts, and adjusts quantity on hand for all GPA Storerooms.
- Cleans bins and Storeroom area.
- Works with immediate supervisor, management, co-workers, and other GPA employees effectively and professionally.
- Maintains accurate inventory master catalog.
- Performs manual labor involving lifting up to 75 pounds, bending, kneeling, climbing, walking, pushing, and pulling.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of general storeroom procedures and operations desired.Computer skills in a Windows operating system required.Ability to use Microsoft Office package required.Ability to use SAP desired.Must show initiative and have the ability to work without constant supervision required.The ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally with the GPA staff on all levels of administration including immediate supervisor, management, and co-workers required.

Experience
- 3 to 5 years of storeroom and parts experience Preferred
Education
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
Licenses & Certifications
- TWIC - Transportation Worker Identification Credential Required
- Driver's License - Valid state driver's license Required
