Job Summary
The Operations Team Leader is responsible for the safety of all employees working on shift and for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of all power plant equipment. This position has the overall leadership responsibility for the plant on night shifts, holidays and weekends. This position must ensure that the plant is operated in compliance with all safety, regulatory, and environmental regulations. Furthermore, the Operations Team Leader is responsible for effective employee performance management, including training, employee development, setting goals, giving feedback, and coaching.

Job Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in plant operations are preferred.
- Experience in working as an Operator (BTO/GPO preferred) - Supervisory/Leadership experience preferred - Strong technical background in the operation and maintenance of a generating plant. Supercritical experience preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze critical situations, determine, and implement solutions in a safe manner.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office tools, Maximo, etc.)
- Experience with OIS as a diagnostic and troubleshooting tool
- Ability to analyze and determine operational conditions that affect unit reliability, flexibility, and efficiency.
- Ability to effectively communicate and train others
- Ability to develop teams and individuals through performance management; knowledge and understanding of Safety and Compliance regulations
- Proven working knowledge of plant systems, equipment, processes and procedures
- Thorough understanding of IBEW contract JOB
- Responsible for ensuring and maintaining a safe work environment
- Responsible for performance management and the training and development of employees
- Responsible for keeping plant management and Fleet Operations informed of critical equipment conditions
- Responsible for knowing and implementing all emergency action plans
- Primary contact for coordinating daily operations with all departments - Responsible for the completion of operational preventive maintenance work orders
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate housekeeping and equipment cleanliness Additional Information: This is a rotating shift position.
