Georgia Regional Hospital at Savannah (GRHS) is a state-funded multi-service facility operated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. The hospital provides quality care to mentally ill adults and individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities from its 34-county catchment area in Southeast Georgia. GRHS opened in December of 1970 with a design to decentralize mental health services in the state and treat people nearer to their homes and families. The hospital provides evaluation and treatment to clients needing care. The hospital's admitting office is a psychiatric emergency receiving facility open 24 hours a day.

GRHS is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The adult admitting unit is certified for Medicare reimbursements by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS).

georgia regional hospital at savannah is seeking qualified applicants for the position of treatment mall coordinator. this position works 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

job description: this position oversees all adult mental health (amh) and forensic group and activity programming both on units and main mall. also oversees daily group programming and overall implementation of group intervention services hospital-wide. ensures that all individuals receive the needed services required within guidelines. also ensures staff are properly trained to meet all required service needs.

preferred qualifications: master's degree in mental health related field, license-eligible, at least one year supervisory experience. two years experience in mental health.

for this type of employment, state law requires a national and state background check as a condition of employment.

master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university or bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and two years of related experience or one year of experience at the lower level behavioral hlth counselor 1 (hcp100) or position equivalent. note: some positions may require certification or licensure.

minimum qualifications: master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and two years of experience performing work related to area of assignment or bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and five years of experience performing work related to area of assignment or one year of experience at the lower level healthcare program consultant 2 (hcp091) or position equivalent. note: some positions may require licensure.

preferred skills/qualifications: master's degree in mental health related field, license-eligible, at least one year supervisory experience. two years experience in mental health.
