Position Summary
We are now hiring for a Data Entry Specialist that will support a high-volume ophthalmic practice, within the Clinical Research Deparment, that focuses on providing quality and compassionate care to each patient needing complete eye care services.
Responsibilities
A Clinical Research Data Entry Specialist is responsible for entering data into sponsor databases as well as other database requirements related to clinical trials.
• Complete daily project specific data entry, query resolution, and other data management responsibilities• Ensure accurate and timely entry of data utilizing Electronic Data Capture Systems (EDC)• Handle queries from the sponsor related to study data• Enter applicable information into the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system• Adhere to Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (GCP) and regulatory and ethical standards• Maintain relationships with site staff, study subjects, and sponsor delegates• Perform other related duties as assigned by Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)• Maintain compliance with all clinical trial Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• Knowledge of medical terminology• Ability to manage multiple projects and multi-task• Attention to detail and accuracy• Ability to work independently and collectively as a team• Superior verbal and written communication skills• Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook• High school diploma or equivalent GED, Associates degree preferred
