The position starts with light housekeeping, including vacuuming, laundry, meal prepping by chopping vegetables, taking out the kitchen trash, and emptying the dishwasher. The nanny will also run errands and work on organization projects, such as going through the fridge or taking inventory of household items.
During the day, the children's grandmother is often present, helping with household duties and preparing dinner. She has played a significant role in raising their first child and continues to assist as needed, particularly with the baby, while also balancing her own activities. The nanny will need to be comfortable working alongside her, as she is actively involved in the household and supportive during doctor’s appointments or other errands.
The family is primarily practices a vegetarian diet, and have a separate microwave and space for the nanny to prepare their own meals, particularly if they include meat.
