Temporary Part-Time Housekeeper Needed for Kitchen Cleaning, Laundry, and Spring Cleaning in Vinings

A family in Vinings is seeking a part-time housekeeper to help maintain their 6 BR, 6 BA, 6,500 sqft home (which includes two half-baths and a finished basement). This temporary position will last for 3 months with the possibility of extending. The role requires 8–12 flexible hours per week, preferably in the afternoon, but the schedule can be adjusted based on the right candidate. The family also has a professional cleaning company that comes every Thursday to handle deep cleaning tasks, so the focus will be on maintaining the home between visits.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Keep the kitchen clean and organized (NO dishes left in the sink and ensure the coffee machine is cleaned)
  

• Assist with laundry, paying close attention to the specific washing routine for children’s clothing due to eczema (sometimes requiring multiple washes)
  

• Light ironing and separating laundry by color
  

• Follow mom’s detailed instructions carefully, as she is very particular about how things are done
  

• Restock beverages in the cooler and paper products throughout the home
  

Additional Tasks May Include:

• Spring cleaning tasks 1–2 times per year (clean inside refrigerators, vacuum underneath, clean oven racks, launder mattress and pillow covers, change air filters, etc.)
  

• Help with holiday decorations, organizing, and breaking down holiday setups
  

• Assist with errands, light gift wrapping, and occasional pet care (taking the small dog out if mom is away)
  

• Rarely, help with minor pool maintenance (such as filling it up)
  

• Learn how to polish silver (training provided)
