This is a technical position in the Information and Instructional Technology Department serving as the initial point of contact with the computer system end-users.
Responsibilities
This position receives technical support calls and tickets, attempts to resolve those issues using established knowledge base and provides help desk support for Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, Email, the myGSW campus portal, and other applications. The IT Coordinator serves as the Campus Telecommunications Officer, communicating Microsoft Teams Voice telephone support needs with end-users, Microsoft and GSW¿s Senior System Administrator. This position also performs departmental duties including purchase orders, invoices, inventories, internal requisition, and related work as required.
Required Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of the principles and concepts involved in the optimization of job scheduling Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Email, Windows OS, and Internet The ability to learn, operate, and manage GSW's Microsoft Teams Voice communication environment. Four years general office support experience The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others Excellent oral communications and problem-solving skills High school diploma or equivalent required, 2-year technical diploma or equivalent college coursework preferred
