GRHS is seeking candidates for the position of Admin Support 2 (Unit Clerk) -1st shift – AMH Acute Care Unit. This position will work 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Job Description
This position will be working between the units and Health Information Management, reporting to Nursing Department. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze, file, scan, and process the discharged charts on the units
- Notify the clinicians when there are discrepancies in the charts
- Maintain and purge charts on a regular basis
- Ensure labs and consultation reports are received for scanning and filing
- Send information to outside facilities for continuity of care
- Enter data in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Prepare the correct forms from hospital policies to be used in the medical records
- Play a vital role in scanning medical records information for the physicians working as Telepsychiatrists.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the State minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all of the following skills/experience:
- High school diploma with at least 2 years’ clerical experience
- Experience working in a medical records department
- Experience scanning and filing records
- Working knowledge of Release of Information
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Experience working in EMR a plus but not required
