About the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. The School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering offers excellent undergraduate and graduate programs in the nations largest college of engineering, we provide our students with incomparable opportunities, countless options for collaboration with experts in other fields across campus, and access to some of the best research and academic facilities available in higher education. Boasting world-class professors, our school has one of the largest faculties of any chemical engineering program nationwide. Job Summary

Facilitate building maintenance services within an assigned facility. Services include custodial, deliveries, assistance with office moves, equipment installation and maintenance and building security. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: assigned facility occupants and visitors. This position typically will advise and counsel: NA. This position will supervise: NA

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Serve as contact and resource for building occupants regarding facilities needs/requests.

Job Duty 2 -
Arrange for and participate in moves of office equipment and furniture to and within assigned facility.

Job Duty 3 -
Maintain building records and logs; prepare reports as required.

Job Duty 4 -
Arrange for repair and maintenance services related to building equipment and facilities.

Job Duty 5 -
Order, distribute, and stock supplies.

Job Duty 6 -
Coordinate and facilitate building inspections; monitor building safety conditions.

Job Duty 7 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma

Required Experience
Three to five years job related experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
This job requires working knowledge of building operations and general maintenance requirements. Skills in customer service, records maintenance and basic equipment assembly is required as is the use of office related computer applications.

Salary range: $17.98 - $22.00/hr.

Location: Onsite (Atlanta, GA)

This is not a supervisory position.
