Job Summary

Provide leadership for sustainable practice and behavior change efforts on campus. Align projects with the goals and objectives of the campus sustainability initiative and promote and coordinate the many sustainable practice activities ongoing and emerging on campus. This position will interact on a consistent basis with : staff, students and faculty.This position typically will advise and counsel : staff, students and faculty.This position will supervise : NA

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -

Serve as a subject level expert to consult and collaborate with campus partners on departmental integration of sustainability goals and project development and implementation.

Job Duty 2 -

Share lessons learned and best practices from initiatives and pilot projects across campus in support of Institute-wide sustainability goals.

Job Duty 3 -

Develop and implement programs which engage faculty, staff, and students in campus sustainability in advancement of the Strategic Plan for Sustainable Practice.

Job Duty 4 -

Develop and implement communications strategies, collateral, and reporting pieces.

Job Duty 5 -

Manage the student assistant program for the office and additional student engagement programming (e.g., Student Sustainability Advisory Council to the Office of Campus Sustainability).

Job Duty 6 -

Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Communications, Policy, Business, Education, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Other Required Qualifications

This position may have P-card responsibility and the incumbent will be required to pass a background and credit check.

Required Experience

Two to four years of job related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications

Master's Degree in business, policy, environmental sciences or related field

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS

This job requires strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, be detail oriented, and manage time effectively amidst shifting priorities. Ability to organize meetings, facilitate groups and special events. Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop change or alternatives. Ability to self-motivate, multi-task and to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Knowledge of office related computer applications such as Office Suite, Mailchimp, Wordpress, Photoshop, and Drupal. Strong communication skills including writing and public speaking.

Salary Range $63,303.00 - $86,091.00

Salary will commensurate with experience and education

Location : Atlanta, GA

Working Arrangement : Hybrid (Three days minimum in office)
