The H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) has achieved national and international prominence through its tradition of unparalleled excellence and leadership in research, education, and service. Job Summary

Plan and direct the functions of the program Career Center. The Center's mission is to help students in their job search efforts and recruit potential employers of those student. Services cover placements for full-time students, summer internships and permanent employment. Responsible for setting employee and / or group goals, deciding on organizational structure to meet the goals, assessing employee and / or group performance and providing feedback and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a regular basis with : College academic and administrative leadership and faculty, director of admissions, alumni, corporate executives, students. This position typically will advise and counsel : students, recruiters. This position will supervise : Career Center staff.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -

Plan, organize and direct Career Center staff through goal setting, assignments and managing ongoing functions and activities

Job Duty 2 -

Establish and communicate Center policies and programs consistent with its mission

Job Duty 3 -

Direct outreach efforts toward corporate employers, promoting the College's programs students as a viable source of potential employees

Job Duty 4 -

Provide assistance to the program students in their career search through conducting job search workshops and individual counseling in job search strategy and tactics

Job Duty 5 -

Serve as a member of the College's program admissions committee in selecting program candidates

Job Duty 6 -

Develop and administer Center budget

Job Duty 7 -

Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience

Eight to ten years of job related experience

Master's Degree in business administration (MBA) or similar management Degree from an AACBS-accredited business school

  • 7 years of experience in career services, corporate relations, talent acquisition, or related fields.
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and experience engaging with corporate partners.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with graduate-level students or programs, particularly in analytics, STEM, or business fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and implement innovative career services initiatives.
  • Familiarity with analytics industry trends and employer expectations.
  • Proficiency in career services management tools and platforms.

    SKILLS

    This job requires working knowledge the professional recruitment process, especially as it relates to MS and MBA students and graduates. This includes ability to interact effectively with corporate executives, alumni, faculty, staff and students; possess strong interpersonal, management, organization and marketing skills and ability to supervise effectively. Use of office related computer applications is required.
