What are the responsibilities and job description for the Zookeeper position at Georgia Untamed Zoo?

You would be responsible for the care of the animals during all seasons. Winters are cold & summers are hot.
Physical Labor- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
Our animals depend on you. Are you able to arrive to work on time? Also due to weather, events and other unforeseeable conflicts you must be flexible!
Must have reliable transportation
Must be 18 years or older
Must be a diligent and self driven individual who REALLY likes animals
About the Animal Care position: * Feeding of animals- including diet preparation* Behavioral observation of the animals* Enclosure maintenance including upkeeping the grounds of the Zoo & enclosures* Providing environmental enrichment for the animals * Cleaning & assisting with upkeep of the facility * Self motivated and people skills because you will interacting and educated the public* Full time position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
