Collaborating with the Project Manager and external vendors, this position plays a critical role in the smooth operation of the ERP infrastructure.
Essential Functions:
- Manage and maintain ERP system databases, including configuration and optimization.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and efficiency.
- Support data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and integrity during transitions.
- Implement and enforce database security measures, adhering to data protection regulations.
- Develop and document database maintenance procedures, configurations, and standards.
- Work closely with external vendors to address system updates and technical issues.
- Assist in system backups and recovery processes to prevent data loss.
- Facilitate meetings with IT and other departments to address database-related needs.
- Support ongoing ERP system enhancements by updating and testing database configurations.
- Perform other database administration-related duties as assigned.

- Assist in Help Desk operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Foundational knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database) are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Relevant certifications in data analysis or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) are a plus.
