Job Title : Mainframe Developer

Location : Boston, MA

Job Summary :

We are looking for a Mainframe Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable mainframe applications. The role involves working with COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, and DB2 to deliver reliable and optimized solutions while supporting integration with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
  • Manage and optimize VSAM and DB2 databases.
  • Analyze requirements and design robust mainframe solutions.
  • Integrate mainframe systems with other enterprise systems.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform system maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Skills and Qualifications :

Must-Have :

  • Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and DB2.
  • Experience with debugging tools and batch scheduling systems.
  • Familiarity with mainframe utilities like DFSORT and File-AID.

    • Preferred :

  • Knowledge of system integration tools and cloud environments.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and performance optimization.

    • Soft Skills :

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
