Job Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Product Owner with a strong technical background and product vision. The ideal candidate has prior development experience and has transitioned into a Product Owner role or has worked closely with tech teams as a seasoned PO. This role requires a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, IT project management, and a strong ability to align business objectives with technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Ownership & Strategy: Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.
- Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with Agile squads to clarify business requirements, remove roadblocks, and ensure alignment with product strategy.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of priorities.
- Product Feasibility & Cost Analysis: Analyze the feasibility and impact of potential changes, balancing short-term and long-term goals.
- Sprint Planning & Execution: Define and communicate expected product value for each iteration, working with teams to optimize capacity and delivery.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Support user-driven design, usability testing, and iterative improvements based on customer feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Acumen: Previous experience in software development or a strong technical background is highly preferred.
- Agile Expertise: Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, SAFe framework, and tools like JIRA.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to make quick and informed decisions to keep projects on track.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the insurance industry and familiarity with relevant products is a plus.
