Audi Service Dispatcher/Warranty Administrator

Audi Danbury Service has been experiencing sustained growth for a considerable amount of time and we have reached a stage where we need to expand our service family. The newest addition could be you!
As the Audi Dispatcher, you will be responsible for workshop operations in the capacity of a team leader for the technicians. The primary objective is to provide the best service experience possible for our customers, while prioritizing streamlined processes to ensure top efficiency.
Our organization works diligently to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting creativity and teamwork among its employees.
Essential Duties Include;
Distribute repair orders to the proper and qualified technician in an effort to ensure vehicles are completed in a timely manner, consistent with the time frame promised.
Implementing and maintaining an effective dispatch system.
Calculating shop capacity and communicating with management on shop load.
Prioritize and document all comebacks to ensure proper and prompt attention.
Review and ensure proper repair order documentation i.e. Concern, Cause, Correction, proper punch times, video inspection, multi-point inspection and all other required repair order notes as outlined by management.
Ensure the technicians are following the proper service process guidelines and report regularly with the service manager.
Review job status frequently and identify when repairs are taking longer than estimated. Inform the foreman or service manager if assistance is needed.
Identify if a technician requires assistance and direct the technician on the correct path for resolution.
Maintain an organized and up to date repair order log.
Determine warranty eligibility prior to repair and code warranty repair orders upon completion.
Provide proper labor times for repairs or maintenance that is recommended by the technician.
Track and document any repetitive shortages that cause a delay in repairs, and communicate that to the service manager.
Assist and monitor workshop safety guidelines and report any short comings to the service manager.
Maintain a clean and efficient work space.
Some additional duties may be required to assure we provide the highest level of service possible.
