We are seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead our service department at Porsche Conshohocken. If you have 5 years of experience working in a Porsche shop and are preferably Silver or Gold certified, we want you on our team! We are offering a competitive salary with relocation assistance for the right candidate.
As the Shop Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all repairs are performed with precision and that our service department maintains a high level of customer satisfaction. Your leadership will drive the performance of a team of highly skilled technicians, ensuring they have the resources, training, and support they need to deliver the exceptional quality Porsche customers expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist technicians with skill development and provide technical support when needed
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty procedures and federal, state, and local regulations
- Oversee the efficient and fair assignment of repair orders to technicians to help them achieve daily objectives
- Perform spot checks on completed jobs to ensure high-quality standards and minimize comebacks
- Engage with customers on road tests as needed to assist in thorough diagnosis and provide a high level of customer satisfaction
- Assist in driving the performance metrics, such as efficiency, productivity, and comeback reports
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized shop environment
- Ensure all service department employees receive appropriate manufacturer training
- Ability to take over and complete complex repairs as needed
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a Porsche shop environment (required)
- Silver or Gold Certification (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Porsche-specific repair and service procedures
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
