Volkswagen Danbury is seeking an outstanding Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team! As an Automotive Service Advisor, you’ll be responsible for delivering an exceptional experience to our customers while overseeing service orders, managing the drive lane, and ensuring smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service, making sure their experience with Volkswagen Danbury is positive and memorable.
Oversee Service Flow: Manage the service orders and flow of the drive lane, ensuring efficient operations.
Customer Ownership: Take ownership of the customer's experience and complete additional assignments that leave a lasting, positive impression.
Concierge Support: Provide personalized support for all owner inquiries, whether in person or over the phone, ensuring no customer is mishandled.
Tech Time Efficiency: Ensure that technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers, optimizing productivity and service revenue.
Work Distribution: Distribute work among technicians efficiently, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Technical Knowledge: Answer technical questions regarding vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
Customer Satisfaction: Maintain customer satisfaction scores that meet or exceed company standards.
Diagnostics & Parts: Assist in diagnosing vehicle issues, and order parts and tools as necessary to perform repairs.
Warranty Claims: Oversee the administration of warranty claims and train/supervise service department employees.
Policy Reinforcement: Enforce company policies, adhere to company standards, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Team Collaboration: Maintain a positive working relationship with factory representatives and encourage positive employee relations.
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
Pre-Employment Screening: Willing to submit to pre-employment screenings, including background and drug tests.
Organization & Time Management: Must be organized with strong time management skills to ensure the efficient handling of service orders and customer inquiries.
Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams effectively.
Professional Appearance: Well-groomed personal appearance that reflects the professionalism of the Volkswagen brand.
Proven Service & Sales Success: A proven track record in service and sales, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Team-Oriented & Self-Motivated: Ability to work well in a team environment and motivate oneself to succeed.
Technical Knowledge (Preferred): Knowledge of CDK or Reynolds and Reynolds is a plus.
