J.McLaughlin is seeking a Full-time Merchandise Allocator, responsible for maintaining store inventory levels in a highly curated, fast paced retail environment. This role works in close partnership with Merchants, Planning, Warehouse and Marketing teams and is critical to the success of J.McLaughlin.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions:
- Produce and present weekly reports to teams and leadership.
- Responsible for initial allocations, reorders, rebalancing, sizing and basics.
- Responsible for new store openings in partnership with Merchant, Real Estate and Warehouse teams.
- Enthusiast, team player, partnering with Director in building process and structure within the new allocation system (Toolio).
- Work closely with the Distribution Center regarding inbound, in season and replenishment product.
- Seasonal rebalancing of inventory.
- Work closely with Merchant and Planning on product strategy and inventory levels.
- Other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior Operations or Retail experience/internship a plus.
- Prior experience with Toolio a plus.
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Goal oriented with a positive and energic attitude.
- Attention to detail and organized.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently while maintaining strong working relationships with others.
- Committed to growth and development.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
