Overview
Georgica property management is seeking a full-time Traveling Maintenance Technician to join our team. Under the direction of the Maintenance Super the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all facilities located on the property, as well as assisting with the coordination of service requests from other departments. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge base in all aspects of facility upkeep, with an emphasis on carpentry, plumbing, HVAC and electrical. Will also be able to work independently and have excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Indoor maintenance will include completing routine painting, carpentry, dry wall, cleaning, minor plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, and other maintenance activities in response to work orders; will also prep vacant units for new residents to move-in.
- Maintaining indoor and outdoor maintenance and clean presentation of these three communities totaling to 181-units.
- Responding to emergency on-call duties within 30 minutes of on-call notification as required or assigned.
- Must be adaptable to changing work priorities to meet required project/work task deadlines.
- Flexibility to work Overtime when assigned.
- Must work well independently as well as on a team.

- Perform maintenance activities as scheduled on-site to maintain exterior appearance and condition.
- Provide on-site support to residents as needed.
- Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor regarding unit status and repairs needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC skills. Knowledge of fire safety guidelines a plus. Knowledge of apartment rules a plus.
- Ability to read and understand documents such as maintenance policies and procedures; maintenance schedule; repair orders; unit descriptions; contact information; logs, reports and forms.
- Ability to work in team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Pay: $21.93 - $22.77 per hour
