What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Staff position at GEORGIE'S HELPING HAND?
At Georgies Helping Hand, we are a respected group of professionals. We provide excellent staff training and opportunities for advancement within the organization. A typical day as a Direct Care Staff includes the supervision of adolescent residents at all times. Staff will accompany residents to school, during activities of recreation, to the movies, concerts, and shopping, teaching independent living skills, providing transportation to appointments, fostering positive relationships, preparing meals, assisting with activities of daily living, helping around the home (laundry, cleaning, and decorating) and documenting the care you provide. The Direct Support role is an entry-level position that does not require any previous experience but will be helpful. All of the training and development needed to be successful and prepared for the position will be provided.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
