Our client is employee-owned and a leading Trimble Distribution Partner for Geospatial products and services covering the Pacific Northwest and other contiguous regions. They are seeking a skilled GPS-GIS Sales Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in geospatial measurement technologies and data analysis, with a passion for connecting with customers.
Job Summary :
This position will require some travel while calling on existing and new accounts. The area of focus will be to drive current or new geospatial sales opportunities. Emphasis will be on fostering existing relationships while exponentially growing our customer base.
This position is to provide a very strategic and specific sales focus on the geospatial product portfolio. Responsibility is to develop the existing customer base with the ability to grow current revenue. You will also be technically proficient with regards to current survey and GIS practices and technological solutions; to include both hardware and software products. Additionally, you will provide 1st level support to our customer base.
This position is responsible for meeting or exceeding a defined sales quota through a solution selling approach. Getting to know current customer workflows and requirements will be essential to success in this position. Account development and relationship building is also a critical success factor.

- Outside sales of mapping measurement technology.
- Installations for customers.
- Equipment set-up.
- Product demonstrations for customers.
- GIS mapping technology training.
- Represent the company at trade shows and conferences.
